Group Classes: A series of five classes of 2½ hours each for a fee of $300. Class size is typically five couples.
Private Classes: Private classes may be taught in your home for an additional fee.
Classes are held on Tuesday evenings in Encinitas at the Photo Aqua studio, located at 766 South Coast Highway Encinitas, CA 92024, from 7-9:30 pm, and on Thursday evenings at the Indigo Dragon Health & Wellness Center located at 451 La Veta Ave Encinitas, CA 92024 from 7-9:30 pm. Contact Carol for upcoming class dates.
A completed enrollment form and $120 non-refundable deposit reserves your space in class. Balance due at first class.

Enrollment in HypnoBirthing® is an investment in yourself and in your baby. The relaxation techniques that you will learn to assist you in pregnancy and birthing will benefit you for a lifetime and can be used in many future situations.

How do I enroll?

Download and complete an enrollment form. For address & payment information, please contact Carol. Enrollment is on a "first-come" basis. Your space is reserved once I receive your complete registration.

How much is the tuition?

Tuition is $300 per couple and includes:

• Attendance for you AND your birth companion (husband/partner, friend, relative)
• HypnoBirthing® textbook & CD
• All materials & exercises including: numerous hypnosis scripts, comprehensive Birth Preference worksheet, several childbirth information handouts, telephone & email support as needed from Carol after class
• Opportunity to come back to speak to a class after the birth of your baby

How are make-up classes handled if I must miss a class?

"Make-up" classes are handled on an individual basis. If missing a class is unavoidable, please call in advance to discuss the options.

Do you offer private classes?

Yes. Private, one-on-one training is available. Price of private one-on-one training in your home depends on the location of your home. Contact Carol for more information.

What makes Carol's classes different than other HypnoBirthing® practitioners?

Carol has had 2 successful HypnoBirths of her own at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla. Her experience having some discomfort with her 1st birth & absolutely no discomfort with her 2nd birth adds to her ability to teach the material in a way that expecting couples can benefit from. Carol has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology & a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work. Her many years of experience doing therapy with adults adds to her empathic teaching style. She created a members-only HypnoBirthing® Yahoo group that her class members get to join. Carol posts positive birth stories & other helpful tidbits on her Yahoo group to keep couples motivated & inspired. She posts additional HypnoBirthing®, parenting, and newborn articles in the Files section as well as useful local pregnancy & parenting resources. She also arranges a HypnoBirthing® "class reunion" twice a year so couples can get together & share stories. She has it at the Photo Aqua studio & the couples receive free mini-sessions & a 4 x 6 picture.
